Berlin’s New: "Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme" with Winter Adjustments
Our Berlin meetings for the craft rakı Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme changed to wintertime as well. Now, it's time to discover the indoors of Berlin.
Another meeting that we introduced the craft rakı with the Berliner palates… What makes me sure I'm on the right path with these meetings is the frequency of the afterward question, “Where can we find Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme in Berlin?" With the help of the Yeni Rakı Deutschland team (particularly Dila Atik), I decided to take my chances as a supplier and share all the selling points one by one :)
Whenever I refer to Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme / Berlin meetings I always used the word 'picnic' in caps… Then Berlin winter entered our lives with all its glamour. So, our meetings had to move to indoors. We decided that it was time to appreciate indoors and invited all guests to our Berlin home – Markthalle Neun.
We have a brand that offers Premium Turkish sweet treats to Berliners and its name is Fer Han Feinkost. Despite operating at different selling points in this city, our permanent address is our depot Markthalle Neun and it's a prominent marketplace for our professional life in Berlin.
It's located in Kreuzberg, under the roof of an early 19th-century building. (Someone told me this place was once being used for the repair of the streetcars.) Honestly, Markthalle Neun was the point of bearing for our dreams to start a business and make a life in Berlin. While we were testing the water in 2019, we heard this place was difficult to enter and they were choosing the brands meticulously regardless of their scale. So, as you understand Markthalle Neun is not just another organic open market, it's a pioneer organization that acts coherently with the world's changing/flowering food policies.
Now, let's go back to our last meeting…
First of all, we were relieved once we finalized Markthalle Neun as our meeting location! Secondly, since we were at the heart of the gastronomy of Berlin, we figured it'll be best to choose a native of Markthalle Neun for the catering job. We didn't have to overthink this. It was the time to try a vegan menu that we couldn't try until now but always knew we'll try one day. Bone Berlin is a much appreciated vegan restaurant, both in Markthalle Neun and Berlin in general. Also, they are very experienced in the catering department. The restaurant's partner and chef, dear Wolf Siems prepared us a vivid menu that includes all sorts of vegetables and jasmine rice. He also personally helped us to set up a long table by jointing the benches out front, just like Markthalle Neun way. Thus the setup part was handled easily.
For us, there is another precious advantage to working in Markthalle Neun. This way, we can be in close contact with the stars or star institutions of Berlin's gastronomy world. Let me give you an example from the last meeting; Cheese lover/enthusiast/expert Carina Caseificio whom we met through a famous cheese shop in Markthalle Neun, decided to surprise us and came with a treat. Carina who really liked Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme in a private tasting we had, already matched craft rakı's taste with the Icelandic cheeses in her imagination. With her instructions, we tried the duo together and we couldn't help but be surprised at their harmony. Frankly, to understand and enjoy their explicit harmony one didn't need to have a sophisticated palate like Carina's…
Lastly; Good words of a senior sommelier of German wines among the guests; the exclusive tasting tips of Carina; our friends Uschi and Andreas (I increasingly admire their lifestyle as I get to know them) stating their passions for Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme by saying they want to have it in their homes now on just like the vodka they love; the exciting project ideas from Christopher (the owner of a cool event center for chefs at Wedding that I just met recently)… All of these excite me to make more plans ahead and look forward to new things despite these uncertain times.
